St. Kosmas Aitolos Homeschool Community

St. Kosmas Homeschool Community is a non-profit organization seeking to provide educational and spiritually enriching events for Orthodox homeschool families. We are a growing community from multiple canonical jurisdictions who wish to connect with other Orthodox Christians who are on the journey of homeschooling. We realize our children's deep need for fellowship with other like-minded youth and our own need to connect with other homeschooling parents who understand both the joys and challenges of this way of life. We are excited about working together towards one objective: instilling the fullness of the Orthodox Faith and Life within ourselves and our families. We have active chapters in western and southern United States, and we are currently building a chapter in the Pacific Northwest.  We have members from 23 states and 9 jurisdictions.

The St. Emmelia WEST CONFERENCE is a collaboration of the Antiochian Department of Homeschool Ministry and the St. Kosmas Homeschool Community. The WEST CONFERENCE takes place annually at the St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center in Central California located about half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The WEST CONFERENCE draws homeschool families from all over the country due to the lecture content being offered and the quality of the children's program, as well as the close geographical proximity to the Greek Orthodox Monastery of the Theotokos the Life-Giving Spring, the relics of St. John Maximovitich Wonderworker of San Francisco, Kings Canyon National Park, Yosemite National Park, and various other west coast attractions.
